Andrés Ferreri

Andrés J. M. Ferreri is Contract Professor of Oncology at the University Vita-Salute San Raffaele of Milan. Vice-Director of the Unit of Onco-Hematological Medicine and Director of the Lymphoma Unit at the IRCCS San Raffaele Scientific Institute, Milan; Treasurer of the Fondazione Italiana Linfomi (FIL) and Member of the Board of Directors of The International Extranodal Lymphoma Study Group (IELSG).

He is fully devoted to the research on non-Hodgkin lymphomas, is an opinion leader in the field of extranodal lymphomas.

Dr. Ferreri is Associate Editor of ESO/START Project and of “Hematological Oncology” and Faculty of the European School of Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the European Hematology Association, the European Society for Medical Oncology, and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. Member of the Panel of Experts on Lymphomas for the definition of the TNM of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC). Editor of diagnostic and therapeutic guidelines of the Associazione Italiana di Oncologia Medica.

Author of over 300 experimental and clinical articles on lymphomas in peer reviewed scientific journal and over 330 abstracts selected for presentation in National and International scientific meetings, with an H-index of 64. Author of 23 chapters of books and web sites, written in English, Italian and Spanish.

Invited Speaker in over 170 National and International Scientific Meetings. Principal investigator in 23 Grants for Research Projects.
